A fun, safe, sleep away camp for kids ages 8-13! A great place to make friends, play and learn in the outdoors, and just be a kid. LABCC has been going strong for over 30 years, probably because we're still kids at heart ourselves, but also because our volunteer staff is well-trained and focused on making Camp great for the kids. Many staff members have been coming every summer for over 20 years and we have lots of young high-energy counselors, many of whom are returning campers themselves! (See? The fun isn't just for the kids.)

So what do you want to know? Here's a quick list.

Where and when?
No Shim-pai! (for newbies)
What do I pack (and not pack)?
I'm-too-old-to-be-a-camper-but-I-want-to-come-back, or Becoming a C.I.T. or staff

About Us

The summer camp is an annual event that has been going on more than 50 years.  At  the camp, children from temples in Southern California are able to experience activities in archery, crafts, outdoors, religious,  swimming and other enjoyable activities. Every morning a service is conducted by ministers from the participating temples.

The L.A.B.C.C. SUMMER CAMP offers your child the opportunity to interact in an outdoor environment combining nature and religious activities.  Through such activities, the camper is able to appreciate and experience life situations not readily available in the cities.  With skilled supervision and through teamwork, the camper is exposed to an appreciation of nature as they participate in a variety of group experiences in an outdoor environment not readily available in the cities.

In order to participate in the camping program, the camper’s family must be a temple member at one of these participating temples;
